Fisher includes descriptions of the natural features, history, legends and new discoveries. This revised edition includes an essay on the Tarahumara in Spanish, as well as some of the first photos and information on recently discovered crystal caves in the Penoles-Naica Mine of Chihuahua (which may house the largest crystals on Earth). Half of the proceeds from the sale of the book go to humanitarian relief of the Tarahumara Indians.
