Originally published in 1968 as Men and Dinosaurs: The Search in Field and Laboratory. A curator of paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History in New York for decades, Colbert in 1947 excavated of a series of Coelophysis skeletons at Ghost Ranch Quarry.
