Colbert (1905-2001) focuses on key personalities from William Buckland, to Gideon Mantell, O. C. March, Edward Drinker Cope, and Barnum Brown. With 116 photographs, 47 figures and maps. Originally published in 1968 as Men and Dinosaurs: The Search in Field and Laboratory.
