Robert Cushman Murphy's much loved 1947 Logbook for Grace, as resurrected, annotated and amplified by his granddaughter. Drawing from the family archives, Ellie Mathews includes along with her narrative a selection of Cushman Murphy's original photographs. Murphy, a budding ornithologist with a new wife back home, sailed aboard the brig Daisy in 1912-13, witness to one of the last wind-powered Yankee whalers.
