![]() At Swim-Two-Birds Flann O'Brien LITERATURE 1998 PAPER 336 PAGES
Flan O'Brien's beloved, comic and utterly eccentric riff, set (we think) in Dublin, where a college student is writing a novel about Irish myth and mythology. No summary does justice to this cornerstone (if cracked) of modern Irish literature. Originally published in 1951, James Joyce called it a funny book.
