Hobson's classic memoir of his cross-country trek and pioneering days as a rancher in British Columbia's remote north in the 1930s. He conveys the sense of the land, the weather and challenges and magic of working as a cowboy in the Old West. A transplanted New Yorker, he learned to be a cowboy in Wyoming before teaming up with two fellow adventurers and heading to the harsh northern country of British Columbia. Originally published in 1951, the teleivion series Nothing Too Good For A Cowboy was based on this book.  (CND241, $12.95)
