Both "The Natives of the Alaska Coast Region" and "The Salmon Industry" are valuable accounts of the peoples and culture of the region. It includes Grinnell's notes on the Tlingit, Sitka, Aleut, and other well known groups ranging north along the Alaska coat to Siberia. Nicely Illustrated throughout with original drawings, engravings and photographs by expedition artists including Edward Curtis.
