A book for young adults about Captain Nathaniel Brown Palmer, the sea captain from Stonington, Connecticut, who at age of 21 discovered the continent of Antarctica. As the author also describes, Captain Palmer went on to become a famous ship captain, successful ship owner, and the designer of some of history's most famous clipper ships.
